Your production waste is a valuable raw material!
For almost 30 years now, PolyTherm has been working successfully in the field of processing and refining thermoplastic elastomers. Our basic materials are the TPU / TPC / TPS and TPV material groups.
Whether production waste arises due to color changes or as plastic blocks when starting up the machines - high-quality new materials are almost always used. For some time now, we have been thinking more about how this high-quality material can be used again in the normal production cycle. There is one basic requirement for this: pre-sorting the waste material by type.
It is not important whether the waste is delivered to us in octabins, grid boxes or other packaging units. What is more important is that the materials are packaged securely and weatherproof.
After receiving the goods, we check your materials and then shred your blocks and waste parts on our modern shredders and cutting systems. We then use our extrusion systems to produce high-quality regranulates from your production waste. Here, too, there are of course a variety of options. We can color the material black as standard. If your production waste is pre-sorted by color, it is of course also possible to compound these separately.
Another option is for us to refine your starting material to certain technical values during compounding with our materials. For example, we regularly adjust TPU types to defined shore hardnesses according to your requirements. If necessary, other additives can also be added.
For us, the entire process of processing and refining production waste is a very important contribution to the sustainable, resource-saving use of raw materials - and everything is based on our many years of experience in processing high-quality plastics.
